Copy Customized Form of a list with powerapps in Template

Hello, i would have to create 5 lists in 5 different Sites with the same purpose.

I have created the structure of my list with the columns and in the first list i have created a customized form so in edit mode there are dropdown menus and cascading dropdowns

I have saved this List as template and created another app from this template in another site (or it could be done in the same site). The customized forms are not there, so this functionality is not copied.

How can i apply this first customization without redoing everything from scratch?

Re: Copy Customized Form of a list with powerapps in Template

Hi @kpavlidis,

This is expected behavior. SharePoint list template will not copy the Form because custom form is provided by PowerApps not SharePoint. So far, you cannot save a custom Form in SharePoint list as template and reuse it in another list.

Check more details in the folloiwng thread:

PowerApps module for SharePoint template

Hi @samross - Sadly, we dont have this functionality right now. We cannot support migrating custom forms from one site to another or export/import via templates.

If it only contains the Form control, actually it's not very complicated to recreate the Form in other lists. In Form control, you only need to select the data source and then add the fields that you need by checking the check boxes.

Mona
