Creating a "Red Flag Warning" Icon

Hello,

I am creating a powerapp to use as a CRM which stores the data to a SharePoint List and then the data is displayed in PowerBI. I have the powerapp working to update the SharePoint List, now I want to add an extra feature if possible.

In the example, I was given to base the PowerApps off of, there's the ability to add red flags to items to show that these items need more attention than the rest or critical items. I was wondering if that's possible in PowerApps and then PowerBI too.

In my head I would like the user to have the ability to drag the icon from where it sits at the top of the screen to the item they want to flag and if there's a flag next to an item, I'd account for it in the SharePoint List which then can be accounted for in PowerBI.

If this is not feasible then no worries, but it would be great if it is.

Thanks for the help,

leanns

Re: Creating a "Red Flag Warning" Icon

Hi @leanns

I'm not sure on drag-drop. However, you can place 2 images against each item in the gallery and by default show first gray image and onSelect you can switch to other image

You can achieve by setting a context variable

UpdateContext({ RAISEFLAG: false }) // change this value onselect

for gray image set visible property to !RAISEFLAG and for red image set to RAISEFLAG. X & Y position and size for both image should be same.

Thanks.

Re: Creating a "Red Flag Warning" Icon

@shailendra74 ,

Thank you for the solution. That would definitely solve my problem but to do so would create a lot of work for me considering there would have to be a red flag next to each item in my form rather than the gallery item in whole. But I will definitely keep this in mind if I do need to implement this idea.

Thanks again!
