EditForm Entry Required Error

I am building a simple expense tracker app which is proving to be not so simple. My data source is an Excel File on OneDrive with two free text entry columns called "Payment Method" and "Store/Product/Service". When I try to enter a new expense or edit an expense I get the "an entry is required or has an invalid value" error. Why is this happening?

Re: EditForm Entry Required Error

Hi @grizzlegrazz,

By default, table from excel file shouldn't have required fields in PowerApps. Did you customize the data cards and change Required property to be true?

Also, notice that the Update property of your data card is DataCardValue11, if it's a Text column, then the Update property of data card should be:

DataCardValue11.Text
