Efficiency of PowerApps when running unused pages.

Hi everyone,

I am making an app where the user will select a product from A,B or C.

The selection they choose has such different criteria that I would need to create a whole bunch of screens for each product. Would the pages that aren't selected be loaded and thus slow the app down? If so would I be better off making an app for each product rather than a new series of screens for each one? if I am hoping to create an App that will run at a reasonable speed.

Re: Efficiency of PowerApps when running unused pages.

Hi @JackBerryWorld

This is an excellent question, happy to see that someone is thinking ahead instead of just complaining about app performance.

There are a number of tricks that you can use, and the answer depends a bit on:

1) The number of different products/patterns

2) How different the screens really are, and whether you can parametrise a smaller number of screens to capture all the variation

3) How often the user needs to switch between products

If you give me some more flavour of what it is your are trying to achieve, then I can suggest something.

Otherwise I could pop on a Skype call at some point to discuss.
