Re: Office 365 users in View Form

Hi @SanchezCSG,

Do you want to display the details of a user selected from your Gallery within the Display form?

Do you type the Office365Users.SearchUser() formula within the Items property of the Gallery?

If you want to display the details of a user selected from your Gallery within the Display form, I afraid that there is no direct way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

The DataSource property of the Display form is required to provide a Tabular data source (e.g. A SP list, a SQL table, etc), but the Office 365 Users connector is a Action data source. If you type the Office365Users.SearchUser() formula within the DataSource property of the Display form, the Display form would not generate the corresponding fields (Data cards) automatically.

More details about the data source types in PowerApps, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connections-list

As an alternative solution, you could consider take a try to custom Data cards within the Display form to display the proper properties you want to display. I have made a test on my side, please check the following workaround:3 - Copy.JPG

1 - Copy.JPG

2 - Copy.JPG

Set the DataSource property of the Display form to following:

Office365Users.SearchUser()

Set the Item property of the Display form to following:

Gallery1.Selected   /* <-- Gallery1 represents the Gallery control within your app */

More details about customizing Data cards within Data form (Display form & Edit form), please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/working-with-cards#customize-a-card
