Option set on form in model driven app from azure active directory

Hello I am making a model driven app to automate an onboarding process. In this app I have multiple option sets like Division or manager.  I was able to create a canvas app to pull the data from azure Active Directory to populate the option sets.  But now with the model driven app, how can I populate option sets on app run? I would pull from Active directory a list of all the people with manager in their job title and put that into an option set. I cannot figure out how to do this for a model driven app. Please if anyone could lead me in the right direction

And could you please share the screenshot of your issue?

For I can repoduce that on my side.

Re: Option set on form in model driven app from azure active directory

Hello so I cannot provide a screen shot because it is not an issue of something not working but rather how can I achieve this.

I have an option set named Departments, I want this option set to be populated from the list of Departments I can scrape from our Azure Active Directory.

I can easily achieve this functionality in canvas apps.

I need this to run when a new entity is created in a model driven app.

I have created a solution but it is very slow,

what I did was have a flag that triggers a flow, and that flow would get all the data I need and then send it to the entity. This solution might work yes, but it is very slow and makes it so I need to refresh the form again in the model driven app before I can retrieve this data and use Javascript to populate the option set.

Is there no other way to achieve this without performance issues?
