Refreshing a subpage without being redirected to the first parent's subpage

I'm getting data from a DB and what I display is a list of categories and if you select one of them you'll get a sublist of elements, that depends to the category, and that can be viewed(a page ) or edited(another page).

The problem is that if I add a refresh button on the sublist or in the element's view page, the data showed in the actual page changes as if I am in the first category sublist and in case i'm in the element's view it changes to the first element of the first category.

It happens in every case i use the refresh command, even if i use it in the edit page's OnSubmit.

Hi @Flag ,

What is the formula of the OnSelect property of your refresh button? Please share more details about the related controls and the formulas of the related properties. Explain with same sample data of your data sources if possible. Please do not involve any private data.

Mona

Re: Refreshing a subpage without being redirected to the first parent's subpage

Hi @v-monli-msft ,

The formula of the OnSelect is a simple: Refresh(DB_Table)

There aren't other formula related with this problem, basically when i use Refresh my page's data changes to the first parent's data.

I can explain how my pages are structured:

I get all the data from a DB table and PowerApps automatically creates a list merging the same content in a column (Category).

After, I created a sublist where if i select a Category the app let me show every row of the table with that category.

In the end i've a page where i can see all the values of that row and another one for editing that row.

In all pages, except the edit one, there is a refresh button.

An example of DB content:

ROW1:   Name1,value1,value2,category1

ROW2:   Name2,value1,value2,category2

ROW3:   Name3,value1,value2,category2

......

In this case my first page shows category1 and category2, the if select category2 I'll see Name2 and Name3.

Now if i click on the refresh button the app shows me category1 subpage, then now I'll see Name1 instead.
