Registering error when trying to add a Flow to Powerapp

I'm experimenting with Solutions in my PowerApps environment. I'm trying to package up a Flow and a linked PowerApp within a solution. For my test I create a Flow that is triggered by a PowerApps trigger. The only action of this Flow is to initialize a test varaible. I also create a PowerApp with a single button that is intended to start the flow. In the PowerApps editor I click Actions -> Flows, and add the Flow I've just created and update the OnSelect function of the button.

If I do the above outside of a Solution it all works fine. If I then create a solution and repeat the steps, this time adding the Flow and the PowerApp from inside the Solution I get an error. At the step where I try to add the Flow to the PowerApp I get a message saying something like "Failed to register service '81728bdd-484d-4826-855f-a60b15f81bf9".

I've repeated the steps three times now always with the same result.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Registering error when trying to add a Flow to Powerapp

Hi @DavePotts_BritE ,

Could you please share a bit more about your flow's configuration?

I have made a test, and the issue is confirmed on my side. Currently, there are some known limits about using Solutions in PowerApps, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/use-solution-explorer#known-lim...

I afraid that adding a flow connection in a canvas app within a Solution is not supported within PowerApps currently. If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Fourm:
