Re: Send email - HTML format problem

Thank you @timl for helping with this issue.  The report I applied this to is now in the correct date order, but, as you can see

from this screen shot,AvailabilityReport_InDateOrderButRowsWeird.JPG
the summary rows and the blank lines are all bunched up at the foot of the report.  Did I overlook something when applying your suggestion?

Here is the HTML I wrote per your suggestion which produces the report above -

"<h3>Availability Report</h3>" & "Date: " & Today() & " <br> " & " <br> " & "Resource: " & varName & " (" & LookUp(
    Resources,
    Name = varName,
    ResourceTitle
) & ")" & " <br> " & "Availability: " & LookUp(
    Resources,
    Name = varName,
    Availability
) & " hours per week" & " <br><br> " & "Assigned Hours: " & "<Table>" & Concat(
    SortByColumns(
        DataRows,
        "StartDate","SortCol"
    ),
    Value
) & "</Table><br>"

Thanks again,

Re: Send email - HTML format problem

Hi @jhn1

I can't quite understand why all the summary rows are bunched at the bottom. To diagnose this problem, I'd suggest that you add a data table control and set the items property to your DataRows collection. That way, you can see what the StartDate and SortCol values are for each row, and adjust them accordingly to fix the problem. Hope that's of some help.

Re: Send email - HTML format problem

Thanks again, @timl for all your help.  I noodled around with the HTML for Summary and blank rows in the report and got them to work perfectly using your suggestions.  I am super appreciative!

Re: Send email - HTML format problem

Hi @timl @jhn1

Been following your thread and learning from both of you, The following screenshot shows the progress made so far but need further assistance in adding another grouping as demonstrated below. I'm not sure how at the moment.html2.png

Clear(TableRows);

ClearCollect(galleryGrouped,
GroupBy(Gallery, "Site", "Supplier")
);
ForAll(galleryGrouped,
Collect(TableRows,
{SortCol: Site & "0",Value:"<tr><td colspan=""2"" style=""Background-color:gray;"">" &
Site & "</td></tr>"}
);
ForAll(Supplier,
Collect(TableRows,
{SortCol: Site & "1",
Value:" <tr>
<td> <th scope=,row, class=,sr-only,>"&Service&"</th>

<tr>
<td><td align=center>"&Supplier&"</td><td align=center>"&BillingAmount&"</td><td align=center>"&BillingMarkup&"</td>
</tr>" }
)
)

Re: Send email - HTML format problem

Managed to get the items aligned but its pulling blank products,
It shouldnt show Product 3 under Site 1, there is no Products3 under Site 1, likewise for Site2.
Would you have any pointers on how to remove those items.
