Submit a Custom form to SharePoint list

Hey there,

SP and PA newbie. I have created a SP list that I want to update from a PowerApp. When I auto generate the PA I have a few issues:

  1. I only get the mobile app size, and I can't change to tablet which is pretty annoying
  2. I need to change some of the fields to different types (Dropdowns / People Pickers) etc

I have designed the form and all of the data fields should be configured correctly but I can't figure out how to then make it a form that i can use SubmitForm with

Any help is much appreciated

Re: Submit a Custom form to SharePoint list

Hi @PeterDonohue,

Sorry but switching App view between mobile and tablet is not avaiable so far. To support multiple apps one must create multiple apps to support each "screen.". Or you can try below workaround:

It is not avaiable to create an auto-generated app in tablet layout for SharePoint connection either. I have found an idea submitted by others in PowerApps idea forum. The status is Planned. You could vote on it:

Re: Submit a Custom form to SharePoint list

Any thoughts on my other issues? It seems like this has th epotential to be fantastic but in all too typical fashion it just gets really complicated. All I want to do is have some drop down lists that refernece SP lists, and use these in a form to populate another SP list. It's gotta be easy right?
