Using PowerApps to upload an image from your phone to a sharepoint image library

Hi All,

Please please please help!

Working with Sharepoint Image Libraries here.

Does anyone know if you can create a powerapp that uploads the image to an image library from your phone.  I suspect that you can use flow in some way to move an attachment, but it could be messy and may not be low code.  Would really like something relatively low code.  I'm happy to create a vid to help others on this in due course @audrieg this might be something you've seen before.

I can see this being an amazing way of holding images, but I'm struggling to work out the best way of getting them in there.  Please help!  Thanks in advance.

Re: Using PowerApps to upload an image from your phone to a sharepoint image library

Hi @rorybi,

How do you capture the picture which would be uploaded to the SP image library within your app? Using Camera control or Add picture control?

I think your thought is proper, you could achieve your needs using PowerApps and Microsoft Flow.

If you use a Camera control to capture the picture (which would be uploaded to the SP image library) within your app (PowerApps Mobile App), please check and see the following blog:

If you use a Add picture control to capture the picture (which would be uploaded to the SP image library) within your app (PowerApps Mobile App), please check and see if the following blog would help in your scenario:

Note: Currently, we could not use Attachments control upload image file into SP image library.

Best regards,

Kris

Thanks Kris,

I think both of those ideas look good and fit into my low code mentality.

Cheers,
