Hi,

We assume you want to display Note in the registration page. If yes, then we can edit the Content Snippet “Account/Register/PageCopy” and put HTML code in it as mentioned in the below steps.

Step 1: In the Portal Management App -> click on Content Snippets and create a new content snippet for registration with the below details.

  • Name: Account/Register/PageCopy
  • Type: HTML
  • Display Name: Account/Register/PageCopy

Inogic_0-1673612694946.jpeg

Step 2 : Add custom code to append label on the registration page in the Value(HTML) section. And save that record.

<script>

 changeRegistraionPageUI();

function changeRegistraionPageUI()

{

             $(window).load(function() {

// Code to add Note

            $('#ContentContainer_MainContent_MainContent_ShowUserName').next().next().after('<div class="form-group"><span id="ContentContainer_MainContent_MainContent_note"><span class="xrm-editable-text xrm-       attribute"></span></span><div class="col-sm-8"><label id="ContentContainer_MainContent_MainContent_note" aria-required="true">Note: Use Email as Username</label></div></div>');

});

}

</script>

Step 3: Now clear the portal cache and you will see the Note label.

Hi @apangeles ,

The SignIn page can be customized like the register page.

To do this, you need to create a new content snippet for the SignIn page named "Account/SignIn/PageCopy" and set its type to "HTML".

Next, you should append an element that contains notes for the users. In the HTML section, paste the code provided below

<script>

$(document).ready(()=>{

     let formGroups = $(".form-group")//Getting all the form groups

     //Creating note element for users

     let noteText = "<span class='form-group'><strong>Note:</strong> &nbsp;For user account creation, please accomplish the form linked here: <link>.<br>Our teams will send an invitation code for you to redeem your account.<br>Thank you.</span>"

     //Appending the created element within the appropriate location, For now we are inserting element below the password form group/element

     $(noteText).insertAfter(formGroups[1]);

    })

</script>

Once you've made these changes, save and sync to see the updates reflected.

Thanks!

Hi @Inogic

You're in a roll answering my questions lately. Thank you.

We've decided that we'll be doing a "by-invitation" user account creation. I'm new to Power Pages and only have basic coding skills. Could you help me create a code for my new use case?

It's still related to signing in but rather than creating a note in the Register tab, I'd like to make a note in the Sign-in tab.

The note would say,

For user account creation, please accomplish the form linked here: <link>.

Our teams will send an invitation code for you to redeem your account.

Thank you.

^something like this. I assume the link will only be a basic <a href=""></a> code. I'll study the code you've sent too but I hope you could help me with this also. Thank you.

Hi @Inogic ,

Could you help me again? I want to add the note in the sign in tab, rather than the registration tab. What changes should I make to your code?

Thank you in advance
