Thought: Maximize the real estate on the page around “productivity”. For instance the blue section at the top looks cool but just takes up space. One piece of feedback on the 2 primary systems recruiters at MS currently have is there is wasted real estate. We would rather be able to see more things like; resumes, lists of jobs, other important or useful items to each user. I would prefer to be able to see more info, verses having to scroll down, over, or worst case keep clicking deeper to get to the important, usable data or information I need.
There should be some other options for reject reasons to include whether a candidate is someone for future consideration. Many times, while a candidate may not be a strong fit for the role they applied for, they might actually be a strong fit for a future role and as a recruiter I want to continue to maintain a list of candidates for future consideration. If there were an option of a reject reason as future consideration, it would allow a recruiter to filter on these candidates and if possible have functionality to create a dashboard showing all candidates for future consideration.
When creating a job, it appears it automatically defaults to the hiring manager as the person creating the job. In many companies, job openings while approved by a hiring manager, are entered by a recruiter. It would be valuable if a recruiter could also initiate the creating of an active job and invite the hiring manager to engage on the job order. There could also be some feature added to create an approval process for the hiring manager to approve the active job.
It would be helpful if the last name of the applicant appeared on the dashboard to be able to easily filter who the candidates are in the process especially when there are multiple candidates with the same first name.
