Hi @Anonymous thanks for all your help. You are right about the licensing and the flows being inactive, it really would have been nice if Microsoft mentioned that requirement anywhere in the supporting docs. So if I get a licence it sounds like I will need to reinstall the whole thing from scratch for it to work? Or is it possible to save any of the work that has been done already?
On a side note I am still trying to understand if there is a way to limit daily passes issued per stage or just per day. Otherwise the employee app is kind of useless I think. Thanks again!
I went back and re-entered the CDS credentials in PBI Refresh settings for both Facility and Location Readiness Reports - all is working now!
Great to hear you have the solution working.
It's incredibly frustrating that MS has missed calling out crucial licensing requirements.
I understand that the documentation has most likely been rushed out, however, peer review and sanity checking would have gone a long way. The solution is unworkable with the current documentation and requires a great deal of tinkering with.
Anyone has any tips how to make the flows work? I checked with IT I have a trial Power Apps/Power Automate license, but the flows were all off when the solution was deployed. I turned them on, connected to CDS but don't see any runs. Any steps I am missing?
Thanks!
How do I update the Health Terms & Agreement statement? Thanks in advance.
Please take a look at the https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/sample-apps/return-to-workplace/configure#specify-solutio... as to how to create/configure the solution setting for your needs.
The app uses the “Default Setting” under “Solution Setup”-->”Solution Settings”. The section you need to change is under “Health Terms & Agreement”. The “Default Setting” is a sample. You can customize this or create your own by following the steps mentioned in the “Set solution settings” section. Please reach out if you have further questions.
@Anonymous
Please ensure that you have the 'Power Automate Per User', standard Power Automate licensing is not enough.
Once the licensing is in place, go to https://make.powerapps.com, select the appropriate environment and then open 'Solutions', select the 'Return to Workplace' solution and then ensure that all the flow states are on. The 'Sample Data -...' flows can remain in the off state.
Personally, redeploying the solution once the base licenses were in place worked for me, so as a last resort you may need to go down this route.
Hopefully, this helps
Alan
I had the same issue with Power BI showing that same error and it turned out it was because I didn't have any data submitted yet. Make some connections between your facilities, phases, readiness factors, and checklists and submit some Employee Attestations via the app to see if that resolves the issue. The refresh only happens once a day so either wait a day or force a refresh. In my case, a day or two went by before I checked back but when I looked again, all my dashboards were working. They just needed some data!
