Download file from Sharepoint

Hi,

I am having some problems downloading files from sharepoint.

Finally I have been able to find out the way to build a gallery linked to a Sharepoint library and I am using the function:

ForAll(
    Filter(Gallery1.AllItems;Checkbox1.Value=true);
    Download(Substitute(First(Split('{Link}';"?")).Result;"%20";" "))
)

The problem is that it works fine in google chrome browser but not in iExplorer 11 (it just open the file).

I saw in a post that other poweruser was having the same problem, but the thread was not solved.

Any help with this would be very appreciated!

And just for my curiossity, what is exactly the {link} value included in the formula, I cant see what contents (using ThisItem.{item})

Regards!

Re: Download file from Sharepoint

Hi @mikelpower,

I just tested with below formula in IE11 and it works for me. The download windows pop-up one by one and I'm able to download multiple files after clicking.

ForAll(
 Filter(Gallery1.AllItems,Status.Value="Current"),Download(Substitute(First(Split('{Link}',"?")).Result,"%20"," "))
)

Where Status is a Choice column.

So I suspect that the issue is related to your setting in IE11. You can test about this by accessing the app on a different device.

You can check what is '{Link}' by setting the Text property of the label control inside the template part of gallery to:

ThisItem.'{Link}'

Apparently, '{Link}' is the URL of each records in this library.

Mona

Re: Download file from Sharepoint

Hi Mona,

Thanks for your quick answer.

Unfortunatly , it is not working for me, it just give me the option to open de file.

I have seen that another user had the same problem:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Download-multiple-files-from-gallery/td-p/135...

I have iExplorer 11 and its update to last version.

I dont know what could be wrong.

Regards,

Mikel
