Edit mode to Disabled mode for a control in every click of an icon

I have an icon and set its onSelect property to,

If(Dropdown2.DisplayMode=Disabled, UpdateContext({FilEn: DisplayMode.Edit}), Dropdown2.DisplayMode=Edit, UpdateContext({FilEn: DisplayMode.Disabled}))

And the control, DropDown2, i have set its DisplayMode to the variable FilEn.

I wanted to make the displaymode of the control, switching on edit mode to disabled mode, on every click of the icon.

But nothing happens, please help!

Tried setting the Autodisableonselect property of the icon to true and false, still nothing happens.

Re: Edit mode to Disabled mode for a control in every click of an icon

I managed to get the DisplayMode property to toggle with the following setup:

Screen1 > OnVisible:

UpdateContext({FilEn: DisplayMode.Edit})

ToggleIcon > OnSelect:

If(FilEn=DisplayMode.Edit,UpdateContext({FilEn: DisplayMode.Disabled}),FilEn=DisplayMode.Disabled,UpdateContext({FilEn: DisplayMode.Edit}))

DropDown1 > DisplayMode:

FilEn
