Filter data by 2 paramaters

I have finally cracked showing a value by filtering based on certain criteria from the underlying list. First(Distinct(Filter(PL3,ProcessLevel3=DDPL3_2.Selected.Value),PL3ID)).Result Shows me the PL3ID that I need by selecting from DDPL3_2 works great Smiley Happy However I now need to filter by 2 parameters and can't figure that out !! So I need to show a text result called "comment" based on what's showing in a text output called txt_pl3Id_1 PLUS what's selected in dropdown called DD4. All of the info is in one datasource list called "Responsible" Hope you can follow what I mean? Smiley Happy TIA

Re: Filter data by 2 paramaters

Hi @vffdd,

Have you solved your problem?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the Filter function could achieve your needs. You could consider add multiple filter conditions within your Filter function.

The standard format of Filter function as below:

Filter(
       'DataSource',
        Column1 = "xxxx",
        Column2 = TextInput1.Text,
        Column3 = "xxx",
        ...
)

On your side, you should type the following formula:

First(
Distinct(
Filter(
PL3,
ProcessLevel3=DDPL3_2.Selected.Value,
PL3ID = txt_pl3Id_1PLUS.Text
),
PL3ID
)
).Result

If the PL3ID column is a Number type column, you should type formula:

First(
      Distinct(
                Filter(
                         PL3,
                         ProcessLevel3=DDPL3_2.Selected.Value,
                         PL3ID = Value(txt_pl3Id_1PLUS.Text)
                ),
                PL3ID
       )
).Result

Re: Filter data by 2 paramaters

Hello @vffdd,

You can add many conditions in your "Filter" formula. For example Filter(Source, Column1=Condition1 And Column2=Condition2).

In your case, the formula should be something like:

First(Distinct(Filter(PL3,PL3ID=pl3Id_1.Text And ProcessLevel3=DDPL3_2.Selected.Value),PL3ID)).Result

                         PL3ID = Value(txt_pl3Id_1PLUS.Text)
                ),
                PL3ID
       )
