Filtering a Gallery with a

Hi,

I have a Two Options Value in my CDS a yes/no or true/false fields so to speak. I call the field "Gepland". See undermentioned:
Planned Two Option Value.PNG

In the Galery, I filter in the Items property with:

Filter(Resources;mytextvalue="Hi there")

and I get the results that I would expect, where the field 'mytextvalue' is indeed equal to "Hi there".

However,

When I try to filter the collection on the Boolean "Gepland" field I do not get the expected results.

Filter(Truckresources;Gepland)

or with various variants like:

Filter(Truckresources;Gepland=true)
Filter(Truckresources;Gepland="Ja")
Filter(Truckresources;Gepland="Yes")
etc.

I'm probably doing something incredibly stupid, but for the love of it I cannot see how I could properly filter on the Gepland field in the entity.

Can you help me out?

Thanks in advance,

Grazz.

Hi @grazzhopper

Could you please change your formula expression as this:

Filter(Truckresources,"true" in Gepland)

For example test on my side:

Filter.PNG

Best Regards.

Re: Filtering a Gallery with a

Hi @grazzhopper

Please use the expression as:

Filter(Truckresources;Gepland = 'Gepland (Data Source)'.Ja)

You need to replace 'Gepland (Data Source)'.Ja with the exact column of our datasource. Since we have definitive choices in an Yes/No column, we need to pass that as reference. You will get the existing option as suggestions when you are writing the formula in your editor but the format is similar to above mentioned expression.

Hope this Helps!
