Hiding label when a dropdown is blank

I have a label that I've put on my screen as a warning.  But I only want it to be visible if certain choices are picked in my dropdown list.  My dropdown is pulled from sharepoint and defaults to nothing (it's blank, aside from faded text that says "Find items".  When it defaults to nothing, I want the label to be invisible.

I'm using the formula If(DataCardValue3.Selected.Value="", false, true)  I've left the quotations with nothing in them as the dropdown option is the default blank option.  I even tried to put "Find items" in case that worked, but the label is still visible.  What am I doing wrong?

Re: Hiding label when a dropdown is blank

Hi @Kookykrumbs

Use IsBlank function

If(IsBlank( DataCardValue3.Selected.Value), false, true)

Re: Hiding label when a dropdown is blank

Hi @Kookykrumbs

You can use the expression on the Visible property of the text label:

If(IsEmpty(ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Value),true,false)

Here,ComboBox1 refers to the name of combobox control. Highlighted part needs to be replaced with the name of column in the combobox.

Hope this Helps!
