Lookup columns from other lists

I have a 2 SharePoint Lists

  1. Request
    • Employee Name
    • Date Reported
    • Branch Number >>lookup column to Branch >>Branch Number
    • Branch Name
    • Branch Manager
  2. Branch
    • Branch ID
    • Branch Name
    • Branch Manager
    • Branch Number

In my canvas app for Request, I would like to pull data from Branch. Meaning, as soon as Branch number is selected, i would like to populate branch name and other data from Branch in the request screen.Powerapps.png

Re: Lookup columns from other lists

You could use the onchange property of the Branch Number control to lookup the Branch Name and set it in a variable. Then in the Branch Name control you would set the default property to the variable.

Re: Lookup columns from other lists

Hi @coresoul,

Are Branch Name Column and Branch Manager Column in Request  single line Column?

And you want they are auto dispay by the Look Up Column Brand Number select?

I think you can try following workaround:

I test as next:

Data Source:

20190206Branch (My SP list name)

20190206Request(My SP list name)

Branch Number (look up from 20190206Branch’s Branch Number column)

App Test:

DataCardValue17.Default: LookUp(

    '20190206Branch',

    'Branch Number' = DataCardValue16.Selected.Value,                     /*DataCardValue16 is under Branch Number_DataCard1*/

    'Branch Name'

)

DataCardValue18.Default: LookUp(

    '20190206Branch',

    'Branch Number' = DataCardValue16.Selected.Value,

    'Branch Manager'

    )

Result Test:

Hope this can be helpful.

Best Regards.
