PowerApps AddColumn

Hi All

I am trying to add an extra column to my datasource with a calculation to distance from my current location but I keep getting an eror as attached.

If UI change this to normal text and or number, everything works.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Formula:

ClearCollect(colAddresses,
AddColumns(BingMaps,"distancefromhere",Text(BingMaps_1.GetRoute(varLocationAddressformatted, CurLocation))
)

Re: PowerApps AddColumn

Just to be sure: The BingsMaps is a datasource or collection, is this right?

Probably this 'BingMaps_1.GetRoute(varLocationAddressformatted, CurLocation)' part returns a record or list. Try to place a dot behind it an see if attributes are shown.

Else try to put your AddColumns() on a gallery. First without the AddColumns() so only the datasource, add the BingMaps.Getroute part on a label to test the calculation and when correct copy it and create the AddColumns() formula with the tested calculation. Then to be sure connect the label to the new column to check if you still get the correct result. If so, then copy this formula to the ClearCollect(). Should work then.

Hope this helps,

Paul
