Values from HTML Gallery are displayed as single line value in Sharepoint list

I have a collection that has 1 column "Value".  That value contains a bunch of HTML.  I use it for an email.

I would like to also add this to a multiline column-rich format- in Sharepoint.
When I Patch, I get all my values, with none of the HTML formatting.  Is there a way to maintain the column formating so the list will view in multi line vs the single line im getting right now?

Re: Values from HTML Gallery are displayed as single line value in Sharepoint list

Hi @BigBeuferd,

Do you want to patch the format html based on your screenshows’ value to sp list’s multiple line column?

I am afraid there is no way directly to achieve what you want?

As one alternative solution I think you can try following workaround.

I test as next:

DataSource:

20190211Patchhtmlcolumn(my sp list name)

html1(single line) (as data source to test)

Patch(multiple line)

App Test:

RichTextEditor7.Default: "<tr><td>RichardMid</td><br><td>1</td><br><td>1</td><br><td>1</td><br><td>1</td></tr><br>"

Button1.OnSelct: Patch('20190211Patchhtmlcolumn',Defaults('20190211Patchhtmlcolumn'),{Title:3,Patch:RichTextEditor7.HtmlText})

Result:

Hope this can be helpful.

Best Regards.
