now the flow can read Person or Group field only with single person details. If its set for multiple values, the flow return null.
Would be better to read multiple values (emails for us) for case if we need to use this field for approval email on more persons.
If its problem to return all information about multiple persons, you can use setting from field, accordit what filde (ID, email, Department) will be the main, for reading in flow.
We now support multiple-valued Person and Choice fields, read more here: https://flow.microsoft.com/blog/button-types-more/
Flow does not start for Sharepoint lists that contain multiple values (such as Managed Metadata column with "Allow multiple values checkbox". This is apparently documented for Powerapps here: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/connection-sharepoint-online/ However, no mention for MS Flow. Once you try to run a Flow acting on such SP list, nothing happens! No error or any indication as to why the Flow is not running, which is very unfortunate as you are forced to open a Service request where you "discover" that actually this is not supported yet (everybody loses time). Can you please consider supporting multiple choice columns with MS Flow acting on Sharepoint lists? And also make it more clear that it is not supported now.
Agreed, this is a necessity.
I am trying to create a flow that sends a simple email wich retrieves the (multiple) values from a People Picker and puts it in the body.
Considering that you were able to achieve this with InfoPath or even just with SharePoint Designer this is a big step backwards.
Yes, this would be helpful in a variety of ways, especially in automating cross-team and business stakeholder communications.
This is general for links between list.
As sharepoint allows us to have multiple value in their lookup column, we should be able to perform CRUD operations from flow with those type of fields.
