Anybody know how to find this error?

Hi all,

I have an error being reported onscreen, but for the life of me I can't seem to find where the cause of it is. There doesn't seem to be any kind of search facility and the Error Details > Location doesn't help. I have looked at every property of every control on the screen, but can't seem to find it.

It doesn't affect the operation of the app, but I don't like to leave errors unresolved.

I deleted each control, one-by-one, and still the error persists!

I have duplicated the page, deleted all of the controls, removed any code, and checked every property of the screen (ItemLinesPage_1), and still the problem persists!
Not sure what this warning is though?

Re: Anybody know how to find this error?

Hi @Kaine,

Could you please share a bit more about the ItemLinesPage that you mentioned?

The error message seems to tell that there is something wrong with the formula within the ItemLinesPage.

Please check if the ItemLinesPage screen existed within your app.

The user @mmattar has faced same issue with you, please check the response within the following thread:

Please consider take a try to Rename the corresponding screen, then modify your formula which references the Screen properties, then check if the issue is solved.

If the issue still exists, please consider take a try to generate an app based on your data source or re-customize/re-create your app, check if the issue is solved.

Re: Anybody know how to find this error?

Hi @Kaine

This is very strange. I think your app might be somehow corrupted.

As a test, could you delete every screen from your app apart from ItemLinesPage_1 and see if the warning still exists? If so, could you do a File > Save As (My Computer) and upload the msapp file here? That way, some of us can load your app and see if we can figure out the cause.

Before you delete your screens, it's worth going to File>Account and turning off 'Auto save' to avoid permanently deleting your screens.

@v-xida-msft - I think ItemLinesPage does exist within the app. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be selectable surely? And it must have existed in order for the copy of the screen to have been made?
