Making a standalone thread for this issue.
(note that it will still execute the function on timer end but will ignore the lookup, or possibly the lookup will not be given the data in time)
I don't know whether this is an issue with data be passed through with powerbiintegration.
Or, an issue with the app itself.
If anyone knows how to fix this issue, that would be hugely helpful at this point.
I have read your case(LookUp function only working sometimes:https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/LookUp-function-only-working-sometimes/td-p/2...), they all about lookup.
I think you can change another method to navigate not only use the lookup function.
Please try the following two methods:
Method1.I tested as next:
Add one Gallery and Gallery.Items: PowerBIIntegration.Data
The icon5.OnSelect: If(ThisItem.Region= "East",Navigate(FormScreen,ScreenTransition.None),If(ThisItem.Region= "West",Navigate(Screen3,ScreenTransition.None),Navigate(Screen4,ScreenTransition.None)))
Test it from PowerBI visual(as Gif1)
Add one Drop Down and one Button to test:
The Drop Down.OnSelect: Distinct(PowerBIIntegration.Data,Region)
The Button.OnSelect: If(Dropdown1.Selected.Value= "East",Navigate(FormScreen,ScreenTransition.None),If(Dropdown1.Selected.Value= "West",Navigate(Screen3,ScreenTransition.None),Navigate(Screen4,ScreenTransition.None)))
Then test it(Gif2)
Hope this can be helpful.
Thank you for the reply @v-yuxima-msft,
The app in my case needs to navigate automatically 'onTimerEnd'.
So the first screen is just a blank screen with a timer that quickly ends to navigate to a chosen screen.
Is there anyway I can get these approaches to work in this context?
