Date Format for a label field

Hi PowerApps users,

I know this topic has been discussed over and over again. My requirement is a bit different.

I have a Date field in Powerapps form in which i have made use of the property 'Format' to display the date in the format i need -dd/mm/yyyy.

I have another label field that copies the value of date, minute and seconds field and dispalys it in Workflow history Data card. I have 10 similar date fields arranged in a table format. The label has text as below-

DateValue7&"-"&HourValue7.Selected.Value&":"&MinuteValue7.Selected.Value

But here, it is displaying the datevalue field in the format mm/dd/yyyy.

I used Text(DateValue7,"[$-en-US]dd/mm/yyyy") to format it and it doesn't work.

Any suggestions or ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Kevin

Re: Date Format for a label field

This worked for me. For some reason it didn't work yesterday but today it did.

Text(DateValue7.SelectedDate,"[$-en-US]dd/mm/yyyy")&"-"&HourValue7.Selected.Value&":"&MinuteValue7.Selected.Value

Re: Date Format for a label field

Hi @kevingeorget

Try using the SelectedDate property of the date picker control inside the Text function, and you should get the formatting that you want:

DateValue7.SelectedDate & "-" & HourValue7.Selected.Value & ":" & MinuteValue7.Selected.Value

Hope this helps!
