Focus on specific field on load

Hi Power App Community,

Hoping someone can help me out, im creating a simple attendance tracking form that uses RFID input scanner to capture card ids and insert them into a database using flow. The database and flow works fine with a submit button as the trigger.

The card id text box needs to be clicked each time to input data into it. Is there a way to focus on the field on load of the form? Also on an button press I then need the ability to refocus back to this field to allow for quick data entry.

A second query is their a way to trigger a Submit button from a keyboard "Enter" press?

Any help on either of these 2 items would be greatly appreciated as im sure others have came across them before as they are basic form functions I would imagine?

Cheers,

Luke

Re: Focus on specific field on load

HI @lgarton ,

Do you want to force on the field when you load the form?

Further, do you want to trigger a Submit button from a keyboard "Enter" press?

If you want to force on the field when you load the form, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently. The user @

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please vote the following idea:

In addition, there is no way to trigger a Submit button from a keyboard "Enter" press within PowerApps currently. if you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:
