How to put attachment field behind image in powerapps

Good Morning all,

I have created an application that is retrieving fields from SharePoint list. One of the feld is attachment. Instead of having the attachment name, I want to have an image for the attachment. So, user should see the pdf logo instead of file name and when clicked downloads the attachment. How can I achieve that.

Hi @SaraAhmad

You need to do these below steps in order to show the logo in gallery

1) Create a nested gallery with image within your main gallery (you have to cut/paste if in case it did not nested it)

2) In Nested gallery- items = LookUp(Request,ID=ThisItem.ID).'{Attachments}')

3) Nested Galley image =ThisItem.Value

This is working at my end.

Hi @SaraAhmad ,

If the image you want to display always appears in the 1st position of the attachment field, then please first unlock the attachment data card, then insert an image control, set its Image property to:

First(ThisItem.'{Attachments}').AbsoluteUri
