Login Functionality

Is there a way to set up user authentication through a login screen via the user's AD credentials and view that user's data only?

Re: Login Functionality

In order to use any app within PowerApps, the user needs to be logged in to PowerApps. In your app, you can then filter the data that the user is seeing, by using the User() function to get the user information used to filter the data.

For example, if the data has the user's e-mail as one of the columns (e.g., 'Owner'), you can have a gallery whose Items property is set to

Filter(myDataSource, Owner = User().Email)

You can also save the user at the beginning of the app (e.g., in the app's OnStart property), so that it can be used throughout the app. You'd have this in the OnStart:

Set(me, User())

And the gallery items would be set to

Filter(myDataSource, Owner = me.Email)
