Looking for delegation in MS Flow

I have a MS Flow with a workflow, where the request from the requestor goes to the department head. now i retrieve the manager using - get manager. my concern is - if the manager goes on leave, how the delegation can be achieved.

Is it possible. If yes, how it can be done.

Re: Looking for delegation in MS Flow

I would combine two strategies to accomplish this.

  1.  You can use the Outlook connector's 'Get Mail tips for a mailbox' to check whether the manager you are going to send the approval to has posted an out of office message.  If they have Get mail tips will return the message.  If not, then the message returned will be Null
  2. If the manager is out then you can use the get manager function to find their manager. Or you could parse the mail tip message looking for an email address that the manger has suggested people contact in their absence.
