Not showing Lists from a SharePoint site

I'm trying to make a new app from data in SharePoint lists created by the Access Web App function to export data to such lists.

The lists are on a SharePoint site: [account].sharepoint.com/ExpTrack4/Lists/

When making a new app in PowerApps, I can't get it to show any of these lists as potential data sources. It just shows the lists under the default Team Site (e.g. [account].sharepoint.com/Lists/SomeList/ )

I've tried all combinations of the URL to get it to show other lists but nothing works. I get this error if I use the 'ExpTrack4' URL above:

Re: Not showing Lists from a SharePoint site

Hi sfishe,

Have you imported the Access tables to your Team site? Could you check the imported tables under Team site?

Have you created a proper connection to SharePoint?

Please make sure you are entering the exact Site URL.

The yellow highlighted part should be the Site URL. Please try again to get the proper Site URL.

Re: Not showing Lists from a SharePoint site

Hi

Sorry late reply. I still have this issue. Here's an update:

The export process from the Access web app worked fine - I can see it has created a number of lists. The site is at: https://[accountname].sharepoint.com/ExpTrack1/

The problem arises when creating a new Powerapp, via the application or via the web, and trying to add a SharePoint data connection. Firstly, no recent sites are shown, even though I have recently accessed/changed sites. Second, when trying to connect to the site directly, using the URL above, no lists are presented as options to connect to. The screen is blank - there is no longer an error as in my original post. Like this:

if I manually create a new custom list under the ExpTrack1 site, it does display in PowerApps. So the issue is to do with the lists created by the Access web app export process. I've tried changing their list name manually, that didn't change anything. I went through all the settings and compared them between the new manual list and the web app exported lists - they're the same. Same permissions etc. (I'm global admin anyway - the only account).

Any ideas? This is making using powerapps impossible...

Re: Not showing Lists from a SharePoint site

Hey,

This connector is still a little shakey but I have found a possible solution for you. If you write in the exact Display Name for the list (as in what the list header is on sharepoint, including spaces) then click Connect, it should connect to the list.

Kudos to Audrie Gordon for pointing this out in one of her well-laid out videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rsyyYiI4sU).

Good Luck!
