Hello PowerApps Community,
Would anyone be able to provide any information on PowerApps Portals and Common Data Service? What plans include the full scope of Portals and CDS? How much is it to add these apps into my current licenses?
Any information regarding this would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. I've been on the phone with Microsoft several times, only to be transferred to department after department--I had to finally succumb to scheduling a consultation appointment. Please help!
Very curious as well since the tools we are creating are primarily for folks outside our organization. I signed up for Portal updates but have not received anything yet. They were supposed to start going "live" a month or so after the announcment as I recall, but delays must have occured.
I had spoken to a handful of folks within Microsoft shortly after the announcment and at that time no one knew much/anything about portals.
If possible, could you post some notes after your consultation?

Within PowerApps Portal, you could create, edit, view data in a CDS Entity via the Form control in PowerApps Portal Design.
If you want to design a Portal in PowerApps, you must meet the required pre-requisites. Please check the following article for more details:
In addition, you must have System Administrator or at least System Customizer role in Common Data Service within your current Environment to create a portal. You also need to have a PowerApps Plan 1 license at least for your sign account (access to CDS functionality in PowerApps).

@AGS94 Glad I am not the only one who has had trouble finding out more information.
My consultation, as "scheduled" by the person I was talking to, was supposed to be on the 9th or 10th of this month. They never gave me a specific time or date, only asked me for my preferred time to speak (I told them around 8-9am). I never received a call or email, and am perplexed as to why my representative asked me a myriad of questions to schedule this consultation, only for there to be no communication from the Microsoft team.
I will be reaching out in the next few days again to see if I can a) find out what happened with my consultation, and b) find out information on Portals/CDS.
