Powerapps - Comparing Two Lists and Finding Differences

Hello,

Im trying to compare 2 Sharepoint lists and have it output the differences. I went with the below formula:

Clear(TEMP_COLLECTION_B);
ForAll( Local_Collection_A,
Collect(TEMP_COLLECTION_B,
Filter( Local_Collection_B, !(Local_Collection_B[@Email] = Local_Collection_A[@Email]))
)
)

Whren I tried to run that code, it crashes my browser ... Both lists have about 800+ entries and both have the same columns.

Would anyone know if im missing something?

Re: Powerapps - Comparing Two Lists and Finding Differences

There was a solution for this in the Flow Forums.  It may work here also.  Here's the thread:

Re: Powerapps - Comparing Two Lists and Finding Differences

Thanks for the info but this isnt quite the problem. My 2 lists are already in sync using MS FLOW but some entries didnt quite follow it seems. The whole reason why im trying to build an app is to identifiy the deltas. Any ideas on how to go about this?

Re: Powerapps - Comparing Two Lists and Finding Differences

Hi @Owizardo ,

Do you want to filter the items that are not in listA?
Try this formula:

ClearCollect(TEMP_COLLECTION_B,Filter(Local_Collection_B,Not(Email in Local_Collection_A.Email)))

Re: Powerapps - Comparing Two Lists and Finding Differences

Can you provide the list of columns and any columns other than ID that would have unique values?  Can you guarantee the ID columns in the two lists match? Since there are over 800 items you'll need to find a way to filter both lists to less than 500 or you'll need to load them into local collections.  Loading them into local collections is very time consuming so it would be better to filter them.
