Powerapps Office 365 connection

Our district does not use Office 365 for email and I am now stumped as I tried to use my app with the Office 365 send mail before I started using flows.  I am now using flows and the app is no longer connected to Outlook 365, but users are still prompted to sign into Outlook 365?!

How do I make it so the app stops trying to connect users to Outlook?  I tested the current functionality on an old verson of my app with flows and there is no connection to Outlook 365...so I know it's not needed.

Re: Powerapps Office 365 connection

Hi Tech08,

I assume that your flow is also based on Office 365 to send email, and you are sharing the app with shared users.

When we share an app that includes a flow, shared users who run the app will be promoted to confirm or update any connection on which the flow relies. Please check the documentation about “Share app resources” for more details:
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/share-app-resources/

Re: Powerapps Office 365 connection

The flow only uses 1 Office 365 account to send mail and the rest of our domain is on a local exchange server, but soon moving to Gmail.  I want to be able to have the powerapp use the flow to send email through that one account, but not have the users log in to Outlook 365 (as they don't have mailboxes).  It functions fine, but after awhile powerapps automatically adds in Outlook as a requirement to have users sign in with...which they can't.  Powerapps should only need a connection to flows and not Outlook as flow makes the connection to Outlook on it's own.

I went back to an earlier version of my app before Outlook was listed as a connection and readded in the flows...it worked fine for awhile and didn't reference Outlook, but out of the blue one day it added Outlook back in and broke it the users ability to log in again.
