Powerapps to connect sharepoint with webapi and flow

Hi Team,

I am new to powerapps need help to seach with api.

I have huge record of 20000 to search from sharepoint, But its very slow to search and fetch.

How to use Restful to seach against a Name/ID and call all the related files to powerapps.

I have an textbox with search button

In Textbox we can search with Both ID & Name

In sharepoint

ID              Name         Education                Salary            D0B

Ser123       Mohan         Graduation           250000        15/11/90

Ser456         Raju             Post-Gra              350000        12/11/86

Ser879         Apple           Post-Gra              750000         15/08/83

Ser875          Ram                Graduatin          600000           01/05/85

So from powerapps when i type with ID/Name from same textbox(Seach box), Through RestAPI i want to fetch all the related details  and display in gallery

Any help will be thankful Smiley Happy

Re: Powerapps to connect sharepoint with webapi and flow

Well, you're taking this through Flow, so note that some of that is non-real-time.  Flow is on-demand so can be slower than direct PowerApps queries to data sources.

Not that you should be querying that large of a dataset w/ PowerApps either.

Any chance you can do the optimized query at the source of the data and call it from PowerApps so that the data is sorted/filtered before you to it at the desktop?

Re: Powerapps to connect sharepoint with webapi and flow

Hi @jhall

Thanks for providing the reply,
Can we able to call restApi without flow, if flow will also cause the slowness or performance issue.

Please provide any alternative solution, I hope restAPI will be fast compared to others.
