Hi all,

i want to preselect in a combobox the items listed in a text box :

List box with the 12 months of the year, i want to preselect the months that figures out in a text box (January, march,December), how can i do please ?

i used this : Split(NewForecastLoadTable_2.Selected.Load_x0020_Month,";") but it shows this error : "the property excpects record values but this rule produces icompatible table value"

Re: Preselect items in combobox based on text value

Would you please share more details about the List box and the ComboBox control, such as the items property, data source, and the corresponding field type (or properties)?

The Split function breaks a text string into a table of substrings.

And Combox Box control default property expects a single record selected from the table configured in its items property.

If the source from List box doesn't match the table structure, it will still not work.

Please first take a look at the two controls:

ComboBox in PowerApps

And please post back if you need any further help.
