Radio control cache issue

Hi,

I have a simple sharepoint list form in which I've inserted a radio control and set its items property to this formula: ["Standard"; "Premium"].

Steps to reproduce the issue :

1/ Open Item 1 and select Standard then save (or cancel)

2/ Open Item 2 => Standard is already checked (see attachment)

3/ F5

4/ Open Item 2 => no choice is selected which is the expected behavior

I saw other controls with the same behavior (ex: pdf viewer)... Did I miss something ?

Thanks

Sebastien

Re: Radio control cache issue

Hi @nicotse ,

Do you custom a form using PowerApps in your SP List?

Do you add the Radio control outside the Edit form (SharePointForm1) or within the Edit form?

Further, do you mean that the Radio control could not be reset when you open another item in your SP List?

I have made a test on my side, please consider take a try with the following workaround:

Set the OnNew property of the SharePointIntegraton control to following:

NewForm(SharePointForm1);
Set(IsReset, false);
Set(IsReset, true)

Set the OnEdit property of the SharePointIntegraton control to following:

EditForm(SharePointForm1);
Set(IsReset, false);
Set(IsReset, true)

Set the OnView property of the SharePointIntegraton control to following:

ViewForm(SharePointForm1);
Set(IsReset, false);
Set(IsReset, true)

Set the Reset property of the Radio control to following:

IsReset

Please take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.

Re: Radio control cache issue

Hi @nicotse

I have noticed these caching issues

On the SharePointIntegration object,

OnView function try Refresh(yourList); Viewform(yourform) and see if that works

do same for new form and edit form and check

Hi @RezaDorrani,

Thank you for your quick reply.
I have already tried this approach without success.
Another track?

Re: Radio control cache issue

Go to your App Setting > Advance Settings and see if the experimental feature "Use longer data cache timeout and background refresh" is On. If it is On then turn it Off and Save & Publish the app.  I had a similar issue and this resolved my issue. If it doesn't work for you then you can switch it back. It is a very easy test to do.
