Hello! I am attempting to connect to Oracle for my PowerApp and I've been using 3 accounts attempting to connect. Two of them receive the longer message screenshot while one of them receives the shorter message regarding licensing. Any ideas why these errors are occuring?
What license of PowerApps are you on?
The Oracle connector requires atleast a plan 1. You could active a Plan 1 trial and see if that resolves your issue.
Im fairly certain you just have regular O365 PowerApp license which is why you are not able to add the connector. Let me know if this is not the case and we can dig a little deeper.
Hi @Anonymous ,
For your first error message that you mentioned, it seems to tell that there is something wrong with the connection you created in your app.
Please consider re-create a new connection to your Oracle table with proper credentials based on the following blog:
then check if the issue is solved.
For your second error message, I think this issue is related to PowerApps License the corresponding account owns. The Oracle Database is a Premium connector, if you want to create a connection to Premium connector in PowerApps, you must own PowerApps Plan 1 license at least.
Please check if the corresponding account owns PowerApps Plan 1 license at least.
If the issue still exists, please consider submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:
Hi @Anonymous ,
Yeah, I think this issue may be related to different Port you used when you create a connection your Oracle Table from PowerApps.
Please make sure the Port you used to connect to your Oracle server is the same as that when you create a connection to your Oracle table from PowerApps. Then try it agian, check if the issue is solved.
