ResetForm not working for one form

The following formula works with the exception of resetting the final form (frm_CC). All of the other forms are blank after submission and beginning again while this form retains the last inputted answers. The form (frm_CC) has 2 data cards which are both text input. Every form's default mode is new. I've tried putting the data default as Blank() for both the data card and text input box to no avail.

Patch(Table_Audits,Defaults(Table_Audits),frm_AuditInfo.Updates,frm_PatientCard.Updates,frm_Forms.Updates,frm_Transactions.Updates,frm_TxContactNotes.Updates,frm_Attachments.Updates,frm_Recalls.Updates, frm_Note.Updates, frm_CC.Updates); ResetForm(frm_AuditInfo); ResetForm(frm_PatientCard); ResetForm(frm_Forms); ResetForm(frm_Transactions); ResetForm(frm_TxContactNotes); ResetForm(frm_Attachments); ResetForm(frm_Recalls); ResetForm(frm_Note); ResetForm(frm_CC); Navigate(AuditInfo,ScreenTransition.Fade); Notify("Chart Audit Successfully Submitted",NotificationType.Success)

Not ideal in the case of navigating back and forth between screens, but I found something that works. On the screen's OnVisible property I used ResetForm formula.

Re: ResetForm not working for one form

Hi @ALZamora ,

Maybe you could try the NewForm function to initialize the form:

Patch(Table_Audits,Defaults(Table_Audits),frm_AuditInfo.Updates,frm_PatientCard.Updates,frm_Forms.Updates,frm_Transactions.Updates,frm_TxContactNotes.Updates,frm_Attachments.Updates,frm_Recalls.Updates, frm_Note.Updates, frm_CC.Updates); ResetForm(frm_AuditInfo); ResetForm(frm_PatientCard); ResetForm(frm_Forms); ResetForm(frm_Transactions); ResetForm(frm_TxContactNotes); ResetForm(frm_Attachments); ResetForm(frm_Recalls); ResetForm(frm_Note); NewForm(frm_CC); Navigate(AuditInfo,ScreenTransition.Fade); Notify("Chart Audit Successfully Submitted",NotificationType.Success)

Re: ResetForm not working for one form

@v-yutliu-msft Thanks for your response. and help. I tried that to no avail, even putting the NewForm formula for all forms. Here are all the things I have tried.

  • Re-typed "ResetForm(frm_CC)" in formula
  • Changed data reset to "true" on each text input
  • Changed data default to "blank()" on both datacard and text input box
  • Added "newform()" into saving button's formula both with all the forms and just frm_CC
  • Changed the parent display mode to "parent.displayode" instead of "parent.displaymode.edit"
  • Added ResetForm formula to form's OnSuccess

When I originally had one of these text input boxes on a different form, it would reset, so I'm puzzled as to why it won't reset when it's on its own form on a different screen.
