Save the data from text boxes to SharePoint

I have created an app with several textboxes, date fields, and yes/no toggles. I'm populating fields based on data entered into another field from on-prem SQL. I have toggle that if selected open new parts of the form.

My issue is now is that I can't submit the data Smiley Indifferent

Re: Save the data from text boxes to SharePoint

Hi @SharePointAU,

Could you please share a screenshot of the controls you used here?

By the way, to submit data, you used the EditForm control, or the patch() function, and any error messages?

If the EditForm is used here, then please follow the article below to configure the related properties:

Edit form and Display form controls in PowerApps

For Patch function, please see:

Patch function in PowerApps

Michael

Re: Save the data from text boxes to SharePoint

Thank you! I had to use Patch... but PowerApps is crazy picky with it's data calls, and seem to be different more often than not. I was having a real hard time figuring out how to get the Patch to pull the data from the form and update SharePoint with it. HOWEVER! Community to the rescue. The article below nailed it!

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Patch-Function-Not-Submitting-to-SharePoint-O...

This is the formula that helped me from this article:

Patch(ListName,Defaults(ListName),
{Title: "ListName",
InternalColumnName1: "TextBox1.Text",

InternalColumnName2: "TextBox2.Text",

InternalColumnName3: "TextBox3.Text",

InternalColumnName4: "TextBox4.Text"});
Navigate(BrowseListName, ScreenTransition.Fade)

Re: Save the data from text boxes to SharePoint

Hello. I am new to Powerapps. I want to capture an image and get its geo location and save it to the sharepoint list.  I thinking if it is possible.
