Savedata with version 3.19072.9

I have an timer on my app that kicks of data refresh and collects and saves to local collection used to work perfectly fine with previous versions. It complains when in development mode that this feature is not supported in web browser but still works fine and saves in collection

We got the newest release today 3.19072.9 and I noticed that when I opened the code in studio it no longer collects and saves the data. The unchanged code that was deployed (yesterday) with previous version works.. but the same version when I open in studio to edit doesn’t work..

Code
If(connection.connected, ClearCollect(clogs, filteredsource); SaveData(clogs,”))

Weirdly happens only on the existing app.. I tried similar code on new app seems to work

Any help is appreciated thanks

Re: Savedata with version 3.19072.9

Found what was causing this issue.. the source data had a date filter.. I am only collecting createddate >= dateadd(today(),-90,Days) last 3 months. With the new version this filter seems to be causing an issue. When I removed this filter it started to collect properly..

Re: Savedata with version 3.19072.9

Hi @san2cool ,

Are you trying to edit the app on the web browser or on the desktop studio? I'm pretty sure that there is no more developmenton the Studio (Dekstop Version) and you are now supposed to do all your apps development using the PowerApps Web.

Please try any of the following:

  1. Check if your web broswer is up to date.
  2. Republish your app.
  3. Revert back to the previous version of the app.
  4. Clear your broswer history.
  5. Try using different browser.

Thanks,

Re: Savedata with version 3.19072.9

Editing on web..like you said we don’t have a choice.. I tried both chrome and Edge same behaviour..

I did revert to previous version of the app.. but when I republish it uses the new powerapps release which is 3.19072.9.. and it no longer works..
