The record specified is not an entity or not owned by this data source: Variable records

Spec: SQL Server Db backend using ON Premise Gateway.

I have a gallery of stores, when i pick a store, it navigates to the EditForm gallery with information on the store. This allows certain variables to be changed or edited for that specific record. However, some records allow the change while other records give the error: "The record specified is not an entity or not owned by this data source".

The app is being access from my laptop at all times. I shared the app with several others in the organization with the "Can Use" permission.

Why is the error only occuring on certain records and not others?

How to solve?

Re: The record specified is not an entity or not owned by this data source: Variable records

Hi Tbar,

I have created an app based on SQL On-Premise table, the column types in my table are date, datetime, decimal, varchar, int.

I can edit and create records without error.

I am trying to reproduce this issue on my side, please help collect information about:
>What’s the column types in your data base?
>How is your app configured? Could you show me more details about your app configuration.
>Are there any difference between the records that allow the changes and not allow the changes?

If possible, please also provide your Session ID for a further investigation. You could get your Session ID under: File>Account> Diagnostics>Session Details.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao
