The requested operation is invalid. Server Response: No function signature for the function with the name 'contains' matches the specified arguments

Hi all,

Having some issues filtering a SQL data source with the following formula:

ClearCollect(PITeamMembers , Filter(
        '[HRfact].[vwPIHierarchy]',
         _SelectedLocationNumber in 'Location Number'
    ) )

I am getting a very strange error. Basically, i want to either

  1. create a collection of only the items from the SQL source column 'Location Number' that are equal to the variable _SelectedLocationNumber
  2. Or - skip making the collection, and filter the gallery to only show the SQL source column 'Location Number' that are equal to the variable _SelectedLocationNumber

And I am getting the following error:

Error for option 1:

Error for option 2:

Filter(
        '[HRfact].[vwPIHierarchy]',
         _SelectedLocationNumber in 'Location Number'
    )

Re: The requested operation is invalid. Server Response: No function signature for the function with the name 'contains' matches the specified arguments

Hi @biuser

Can you try out the below expression:

ClearCollect(PITeamMembers , Filter(
        '[HRfact].[vwPIHierarchy]',
         Location Number' = _SelectedLocationNumber
    ) )

If you directly want to filter Gallery, then use:
Filter(
        '[HRfact].[vwPIHierarchy]',
         Location Number' = _SelectedLocationNumber
    )
Hope this Helps!
