Updating a display form with the results of an edit form

I have a Client database with over 60,000 clients?  How do you get a display form to display the results of a new client created in an edit form, without having to re-search for the name upon navigation to a gallery.   If I run a search in gallery for the client and get no results, then add a client, I want the edit form to navigate to the new client view form. I tried setting a variable in the on select of the edit form and as an item for the View Form, but I cannot figure out the wording to make it work.

Here is one of the many variables i tried.

Navigate(PageWithViewForm,Transition.None{Client:EditForm.ThisItem}).

You can do that by decoupling the display form from the gallery selection (since the new item won't be selected by the gallery). The blog post at https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/carlosfigueira/2017/10/04/decouplingbrowsegalleryfromforms/ has the instructions that will do exactly what you want.
