When opening NEW form, sometimes some fields are already populated with OLD data?

This is an odd issue. I have a Sharepoint PowerApps form.

Sometimes when I click "NEW" the form will have old data and attachments from a previous entry, like it's ghosting? Sometimes it clears itself after a second, sometimes it doesn't. How to fix this ghosting.

Re: When opening NEW form, sometimes some fields are already populated with OLD data?

Hi @cchan000 ,

Usually, the order will not lead to this problem.

Maybe your form's other settings lead to must using this order.

I think the most important thing is using NewForm fucntion, not EditForm function.

I've very glad that you've solved your problem.

If you do not have other problems, could you mark my solution as answer?

Thanks!

Hi @cchan000

In the sharepoint integration connection, for onedit, onnew and onview - try reset(formcontol)

Hi @cchan000 ,

What formula that you use lead to this error?

What's more, I've noticed that you want to use newform, why did you use edit form?

If you want to open a new form, you should use this formula:

NewForm(Formname)

If you want to combine them you could try to set the app's OnNew:

Refresh('DATASOURCENAME');NewForm(SharePointForm1);Reset(control1);Reset(control2);.....

Re: When opening NEW form, sometimes some fields are already populated with OLD data?

hi! thanks for the reply.

i ended up using this and it seemed to work. does it matter in what ORDER i list the refresh and newform?

it seems to work if i put newform first before refresh.

NewForm(SharePointForm1);Refresh('X1 InGrid Request Form')
