Cost and Licenses

So we can sign up for a 30 day trial...  what happens after that?  Does anyone know.  Is this included with any other licensing? Or is it a separate license/cost?

Thanks,

Terry

You can sign up for a free 30 day trial by visiting the following link:

https://powerpages.microsoft.com/

You can view all of the trial FAQs here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/getting-started/trial-faq#what-email-address-can-i-use

You will not be charged for the trial. You can also stand up another trial after the 30 days.

If you don't have a work or school email address, you can sign up for a free O365 trial and create your own tenant

With your newly created 0365 tenant, you can use the email login from there to create you Power Pages trial.

Hope this helps.

Hi yes, I know all this.

After the 30 days is up... then what I cant use it anymore?

Are licenses going to be tied to something already owned like E5, or dynamics, etc.

Is it going to be like Power portals is today exactly or a different thing?

Etc.

Need to be mindful that Power Pages is still Preview (so not recommended for Production systems).  Power Pages is going to be a super set of PowerApps Portals, with PowerApps Portals being 100% compatible (i.e. not migration).  At the moment except for probably the Designer/Editor behind the scenes everything else is pretty much PowerApps Portal.

Not sure what happens with the Power Pages trial wen it expires, worst case I am guessing you could use the configuration migration tool to move it.

Hey @Mattw112IG

As @Fubar  mentioned, Power Pages is not meant for production. Because the licensing details are not yet finalised.

I would suggest creating a site using the Power Pages URL(https://make.powerpages.microsoft.com/)  and the login to https://make.powerapps.com/

Choose the right environment and choose/ edit your portal. After your trial expires,  Portal licenses will be charged.

Hope it helps.

Make sure you use the new editor in Pages, it is not compatible with the older one. My only advice.

If its a new project use Pages so you get the new editor. Everything from the old portals will migrate.

Mark complete if this is answered. Thanks!
