Copy CSV or Non-Table Excel records to CDS

Hey all-

I've been struggling all day trying to figure out how to create a Flow to move records from a CSV or Excel file to the Common Data Service.

We have a program locally that exports the previous day's sales in both Excel and CSV format. Unfortunately there is no way for the program to export the Excel data with table formatting.

I'm still pretty new to Flow- any tips would be much appreciated!

Re: Copy CSV or Non-Table Excel records to CDS

Hi @lalder,

There is no way to analyze the data of CSV file and Non-table excel file in Microsoft Flow currently.

Besides, there is no way to format data of CSV file or Non-table Excel file as a table in Microsoft Flow currently.

You could consider convert the CSV file or Non-table excel to Excel file with table formatting manually, then get data of excel file with “Get rows” action of Excel connector and add records to Common Data Service:6.JPG

Best regards,

Kris
