Create a summary email alert for batch creation of list items

Hi,

I have a SharePoint list which is added to via Datasheet view.

We have created a flow to email a set of users when a list item is created which works as expected on small volumes. However we want a solution for adding large volumns. We have taken a look at using Datasheet view on the SharePoint list, so that users can copy and paste content out of excel and create the list items on the fly.

This obviously bombards users with email notications, what we would like is to batch collate the items and send the one summary email.

In additon when making mass amendents to the list items, we would like this again to batch collate the items and send the one summary email.

So its for initial creation of list items and amendments.

Any ideas how best to archtiect a flow to do these two tasks - any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Create a summary email alert for batch creation of list items

Hi @SteveT ,

Do you want to send out a summary email for items in the list?

I assume that creating an HTML table should work for your scenario. Please check the following blog:

https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/html-tables-csvs-computer-vision/

More details about your scenario, you could Get items from the list, then create HTML table from the list items. Further, to get specific items, please try with Filter query of action Get items.

Best regards,
