Creating Dynamics CRM entity record with Look-up type attribute using Flow

I'm trying to create a "Phone Call" record related to a "Contact" using Microsoft Flow. I'm using Dynamics 365 – Create a new record” / “Dynamics 365 – Update a record” type actions. Neither of these actions expose fields, "From"/"To", to be passed during creation of the record or update of the existing record.

So when I specify other attributes like Subject, Regarding etc. the record gets created successfully and appears with in the Contact form for the specified Contact; however, the attributes, "From"/"To", remains blank.

Has anyone tried to create the record using Flow? Please guide me if you have done it with in the scope of Flow. I've tried the "Custom Connector" option and there also I found a hurddle for unable to specify look-up type attribute in array. Any pointer/example/referrences would be helpful.

Re: Creating Dynamics CRM entity record with Look-up type attribute using Flow

Hi @DiptimanBadajen,

I suppose that you want to fill in Call From field and Call To field in “Create a new record”/ ”Update a record” action. I am not very familiar with Phone Call entity, just from the card, the Call From field and Call To field should be Lookup type.

The phonecall entity reference is as below:

Phonecall EntityType

You could ask this in Dynamics 365 forum for further assistance:
