Errors setting up an HTTP Request flow

Hi Flow experts, I am trying to learn some advanced features in Flow - setting up my own API to upload a file - using some excellent tutorials from John Liu: http://johnliu.net/blog/2017/7/building-non-json-webservices-with-flow

When I set up an identical flow as the one in John's post above, it constantly fails.

1) When I specify a header in Postman (Content-Type:Multipart/Form-data the Flow fails in the Compose with the error message:

InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Compose' inputs at line '1' and column '1541': 'The template language function 'triggermultipartbody' failed to retrieve multipart contents from outputs. The supported multipart content type is 'multipart/*' and the provided content type is 'multipart/form-data'. '

2) If I remove the Content-Type header and resubmit the Flow via Postman, Flow reports that the flow has Succeeded, but I cannot view the status and when I try  to view the status it causes a different error:

It looks like something went wrong

Please try again in a few minutes or refresh the page now.

If you contact support, you may be asked to provide the following details:

Time:
Server/Client Correlation ID: [removed]
Error: Unexpected token in JSON at position 0

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Errors setting up an HTTP Request flow

On further investigation this appears to have been a bug in the HttpRequest trigger that was just fixed in the past couple days - was not handling correctly unusual characters in dynamic token values. This would explain why Michael was no longer able to repro this issue when he last tried. Please let us know if you continue having trouble with it.

Re: Errors setting up an HTTP Request flow

Hi @ShaneH,

Thanks for the feedback.

Issue could be reproduced from my side.

The error message from my side is the following:

I will forward this from our channel, and if I got any response, I will post back.

Re: Errors setting up an HTTP Request flow

Hi @ShaneH,

I checked again and now there is no errors when trying to view the flow running details.

Would you please take a check from your side?

Re: Errors setting up an HTTP Request flow

Anybody able to solve this bug? I am still getting this error in my tenant. Please let me know.

The template language function 'triggerMultipartBody' failed to retrieve multipart contents from outputs. The supported multipart content type is 'multipart/*' and the provided content type is 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded'. '.
